Roseann Kermes will be in the shop this Tuesday, May 23rd from 10 am to noon with a trunk show from her new book, A Little Something. This is a book for cute-as-can-be patterns for wool stitchery. Can't wait!  Come join in the fun!

A trip to the Hickory Stick for quilting fabrics, patterns, and notions includes some history as well. The Hickory Stick is located across from  Mark Twain's boyhood home in three pre-Civil War buildings a block from the Mississippi River.   The shop has survived several floods, but is now protected by a floodwall. So the only stream you're likely to get caught in now is one formed by serious quilt makers who for 40 years have headed here for supplies, advice, and inspiration.

 Hours:
 Sundays 11:00 - 4:00
Monday - Saturday 9:30 - 5:00
Closed Mother's Day.
